About WestWood

The face behind Westwood! 
For those who don’t know me, I’m Kennedy Wood. Born and raised in West Texas and a graduate of Texas Tech in 2023, my roots run deep in Lubbock! I was raised in the agricultural community, showing pigs across Texas for 10 years, having a brief stint in Rodeo and an even briefer stint with a Southdown ewe. (Never again) I work full-time at a local agricultural finance institution and love what I do in a professional setting. 

In my free time, I love spending time with people I love, eating good food that consists of queso and a medium-rare steak, drinking an Ultra or a Coke Zero, and spending time with my mini golden doodle, Marley.

I have always loved making my space feel like a home. I have lived in my childhood home, dorm, trailer house, and now a house with roommates. No matter whether my space was shared or ideal for me, I love making the space I’m in come to life with pieces that are authentic to me and the things I love. I have always enjoyed decorating a home and owning a home decor business has always been a dream of mine. I could walk around home stores all day and never get tired of browsing. Now, WestWood is your go-to for pieces that you find authentic to you and your life, no matter what kind of space you call home.

Gifts are special to anyone. For me, they remind me that someone loves and is thinking of me and I want to make sure that every person who buys a gift for a loved one or their self from WestWood knows that they are loved and cared for.
